GenCom provided complete commissioning and start up support for an Ariel compressor package including frame, cylinders, coolers, FW Murphy panel and auxiliaries. Pre start checks, loop tests and performance runs were carried out as per OEM procedure.
Result: Stable operation from initial start, reduced trips and documented handover to operations team with training.
FW Murphy Panel Upgrade for OGDCL – Engine and Compressor Protection
Existing shutdown panel was upgraded using genuine FW Murphy instruments and relays. Alarm and shutdown logic was checked against engine and compressor limits and on site function tests were performed with operations team.
Result: Clear indication, reliable shutdowns and documented setpoints to support audits and safety reviews.
Compressor Vibration and Capacity Issue – Southern Pakistan Field
A reciprocating compressor was experiencing repeated trips, high temperatures and reduced gas throughput. GenCom performed field measurements, valve inspection and process review and coordinated with Ariel technical support.
Result: Corrected loading, replacement of critical valves with genuine OEM assemblies and improved capacity within safe limits.
OEM Parts and Remote Support for Gas Compression Project – Africa Region
GenCom supplied Ariel compressor parts, cylinder kits and FW Murphy instruments for a project outside Pakistan. Export documentation, packing and coordination were handled from Pakistan and UAE, with technical support provided remotely.
